Well it's been a busy semester for me so far. It's my last semester of undergrad and there's a lot to deal with. I've had vet school interviews and grad school backup plans to look into. Luckily those backup plans will not be needed, as I have been accepted into the Mississippi State College of Veterinary Medicine Class of 2014. As far as my photography is concerned, I have not had many opportunities for my nature photography. It's cold and dry and ugly here in Mississippi. I can't wait for springtime blossoming to begin. Until then, I have graduation things to take care of and things to get in order before i begin vet school in July.
So I've been home a couple weeks now for Christmas break. I've had a chance to go out a couple times. Once to the Sipsey Wilderness and once to High Falls. I am pretty pleased with what I ended up with. I did get another lens handed down from my dad. A Pentax f1.7 50mm manual focus. I've been playing around with it around the house, but I can't wait to take it out and try to see what I can do. I don't know if I'll have another chance to go out before I go back to school though. We'll have to see.
